EVENT: 2011 New Year’s Eve 24 Hour Party!

12/27/2011 in Event, SL Activity

It’s that time again. Cypris Chat is having it’s second 24 hour party. Last year we had over 50 countries come visit to celebrate New Year’s Eve with us. Every hour there will be a countdown so you and your friends can celebrate together at anytime of the day. Have a theme party, bring things to play with, have a gift exchange, hold a contest for best dressed, have a photo contest, best dancer contest, and so much more. It’s your party!

Would you like to help by hosting an hour or two of the party? All you need to do is let everyone know the party is starting by typing in group chat. Welcome them. Make conversation. Click this link and enter your name next to the time(s) you are available. Then add the country you are from and anything you need to make your party fun.

ACTIVITY: Halloween Party 2011

11/02/2011 in SL Activity

We had a lot of fun this year at Cypris for Halloween. Many people from around the world celebrated what normally isn’t a popular holiday in most countries. Some of our members experienced Halloween for the first time. I spoke to one member from Saudi Arabia who said she was able to feel what it might be like to celebrate Halloween in a country like America. Second Life and the Cypris Chat community make experiencing life and language something unique and meaningful. I’m so proud to be a part of this community. Thanks to everyone who volunteered their time to donate items, build, promote, and oversee the event. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
